MWC Performance Track Days.

As a full service performance motorcycle shop, MWC Performance hosts several private track day events throughout the year. These events are the ultimate opportunity to test and tune your newly built or serviced machine.

MWC Performance provides trackside service all day, and events are typically open track, ensuring tons of track time to adjust and modify settings to truly tailor the motorcycle to your riding style.

These events are held at JenningsGP, the country's only motorcycle only racetrack. JenningsGP is a favorite among racers and trackday enthusiasts alike.

The goals of every MWC Performance Track Day are to be safe, have fun, and help riders improve.  Typically, achieving the first two inevitably leads to the third!

Guidelines

The sound limit is 104db, and it is strictly enforced. JenningsGP follows very strict county ordinances for sound.  These ordinances allow JenningsGP to continue to operate in the beautiful Florida countryside and share the space with their neighbors. Typically, OEM motorcycles do not have an issue with this sound limit, but if you have an aftermarket exhaust fitted to your machine, you will likely need a baffle.  MWC sells baffles, and baffles are available for rent from JenningsGP.  If you are concerned, reach out and we'll make sure you're ready for a fun day and not busting a sound check!

JenningsGP gates close at 9:45PM and the gates will remain closed during lunch. Because these events are so small, the gates typically remain closed during lunch.  Please be sure to pack in lunch.  Gates open at 2PM during the day. If you are arriving late at night you may have to camp outside the gate until the gates open at 7am.

All track days are rain or shine.  Riding in the rain is fantastic practice and MWC Performance always has plenty of ContiRaceAttack Rains and ContiRaceAttacks/ContiSportAttacks for sale! There are no refunds for weather.

Rider meeting attendance is mandatory. Important information about the day and any deviations from the schedule are provided during this meeting. You will also be required to sign the liability waiver and registration form during this meeting. Both of these forms must be signed for you to be present at the race track, riding or not.

Rider/Tech Requirements

MWC Performance Track Days are self tech, meaning that it is your responsibility to ensure you and your machine meet the following rules.

Gear Requirements
  • Helmet: Helmet must be an undamaged ECE or Snell full faced helmet with an undamaged face shield. Modular helmets are not allowed. Helmet must fit properly and have an operational chin strap. Chin strap must be secured anytime a rider is on or near the track - NEVER remove your helmet while on track or in the event you have an off track excursion.
  • Riding Boots: Riding boots must be motorcycle specific, in good condition, and fully cover the ankle (no riding "shoes").
  • Riding Gloves: Gloves must be motorcycle specific, in good condition, and be gauntlet style (extend past the wrist)
  • Leather Suits: Suits must be motorcycle specific and either be one piece or two piece with a full 360deg zipper. Suits must be made of leather or suitable vegan alternative. No skin except around the neck may be visible.
  • Back protection: A back protector or airbag is highly suggested but not required. MWC performance sells both back protectors and airbags. The best time to buy an airbag is before you need it.
Motorcycle Requirements
  • All glass, headlights, turn signals, and other plastic lens must be taped over or removed. No light may bleed through the tape, which may require multiple layers.
  • Mirrors must be removed if possible.  If not, they must be secured, taped, and pulled back.
  • License plate removed.
  • Passenger foot pegs zip tied up or removed.
  • Tires must have 75% life or more remaining.
  • Brakes must be in good condition.
  • Wheel weights must be taped.
  • Bike must be in visible good condition, free from leaks or damage.
  • Any cameras or other devices attached to the motorcycle must have two methods of attachment. Typically the original attachment (go pro arm, etc.) and a tether of safety wire are used.
